What the public pages publish

Every public event page on this site is generated from measurements. This page is the definition of each one, written by hand.

What do the public event pages publish?

Each event Prompt Prospect knows about has one public page for one edition. The page publishes counts: how many people were found directly tied to that edition, how many companies and in which published roles, and the date the edition was last checked.

It never publishes a person’s name, headline or profile link, and it never publishes the name of a company found for an event. There is no list on the page to unlock, tease or partially reveal — the numbers are the whole of it. The one thing a public event page sells is a free account, and that is the only advertisement on it.

Beside the numbers, a page may carry what the organizer’s own pages print about attending — the registration page, public ticket prices, the agenda and the official hotel block — each linked to the page that prints it with the date we read it, and the hotels OpenStreetMap maps within 1 km of the venue. Nothing there is ours: a fact we did not find on the organizer’s page is not shown.

The pages are assembled automatically. The sentences around the numbers are fixed templates filled with measured values, never model-written prose. A person is counted once, whatever connects them to the edition; company accounts are never counted as people.

What does each number mean?

The labels below are the labels the event pages print, word for word.

Companies, by role

Exhibitors
Listed on the event’s own exhibitor pages.
Sponsors
Listed as a sponsor of this edition.
Partners
Listed as a partner of this edition.
Companies with a speaker
A listed speaker works there.
Organizers
Named as the organizer or a co-organizer of the event.
Listed without a stated role
Named on an event page without a stated role.

Registration, agenda and travel

Registration
The organizer’s own registration or ticket page, as linked from its official site.
Tickets from
The public prices the organizer’s pricing page prints, as printed, with the deadline when it gives one; a price whose deadline has passed is not shown.
Agenda
The organizer’s agenda page; a session count or track list is shown only when that page states it, never counted by us.
Official hotel block
The organizer’s own hotel or travel page, where its discounted room block is booked.
Hotels within 1 km
Places tagged as hotels in OpenStreetMap within 1 km of the venue, nearest first. Distances are straight-line, measured from the venue’s published coordinates to each hotel’s mapped point, not walking routes. A list by distance, never a recommendation or a ranking.

What do we not do?

  • No logged-in scraping. Nothing is read from behind a login, and no account credentials are used anywhere in the pipeline.
  • No purchased registration lists. We do not buy, license or resell attendee or registration data, and no organizer’s private list is used.
  • No attendance inferred from a job title. Working at a listed company is its own bucket and says nothing about whether the person goes.
  • No names on public pages. Names, headlines, profiles and company names exist inside a customer’s own workspace and never on this site.

How often are pages re-checked?

An edition is re-checked on its own clock: monthly while it is more than 90 days away, weekly inside 90 days, daily from a week before it starts through its last day, then weekly for 14 days after it ends. Until then its counts move as exhibitor, sponsor and speaker lists are published. After that the re-checks stop, the numbers are final, and the page says the date they stopped.

The date of the last check is on every page, at the top and inside every sentence that quotes a number, so a quoted sentence stays true when it is lifted somewhere else.

How do I ask for a correction, or ask not to be counted?

Email chris@promptprospect.ai. Tell us which page is wrong and what is wrong with it; if you can point at the source we read, that makes it faster, but it is not required.

If you would rather not be counted at all, say so in the same email and we will exclude you from every edition and keep the exclusion in place for anything we research later. We answer within five business days.
