Privacy Policy

Who we are

Prompt Prospect is operated by Adam Scholes LLC ("Prompt Prospect," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 825 Town & Country Lane, Suite 1200, Houston, TX 77024. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Prompt Prospect or visit our websites, and how we handle publicly available information about the people the service analyzes.

Information we collect from you

• Account details, such as your name, email address, organization, and login information.
• Workspace content you provide, including the watches you configure, ideal-customer profile definitions, notes, and settings.
• Usage, device, security, diagnostic, and support information.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive subscription status and billing metadata but never store full card numbers.
• Referral attribution when you arrive through an affiliate link.

Information we process about other people

To provide the service, we process publicly available professional information about people who publicly engage — react, comment, or repost — with the public posts our customers watch. This can include a person's name, headline, current employer and role, public profile URL, and the public engagement itself. We collect this information from public pages through contracted data providers. We do not access private profiles, private messages, or content restricted to a person's connections, and we do not collect sensitive categories of information.

We process this information so our customers can identify professionally relevant contacts, relying on our and our customers' legitimate interest in business-to-business prospecting. If you are not a Prompt Prospect customer and want your information removed, email privacy@promptprospect.ai with your public profile URL. We will remove your information within 30 days and keep a minimal suppression record so it is not captured again. Our Data Deletion Guide has details.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Prompt Prospect.
• Capture public engagement with watched posts, enrich the people involved from publicly available profile data, and evaluate them against the ideal-customer profile you configure.
• Authenticate users, administer accounts and workspaces, process payments, provide support, and communicate service notices.
• Attribute referrals to the affiliate who made them.
• Comply with law, enforce our agreements, prevent abuse, and protect users and the public.

AI and customer data

We do not use customer content or the professional profile data we process to train our own or a third party's general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We send limited data to contracted AI model providers, routed through OpenRouter, solely to produce the evaluations and results requested through Prompt Prospect. Those providers may process that data only to provide the contracted service, subject to their agreements with us.

We may use de-identified or aggregated operational information that cannot reasonably identify a person or customer to understand service performance and improve reliability.

How we share information

We disclose information only as needed to provide the service, follow your directions, administer your account, complete a protected corporate transaction, comply with law, or protect rights, safety, and security. Our service providers are:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — transactional email, such as invitations and receipts.
• PostHog — product analytics and error monitoring.
• Rewardful — affiliate referral attribution.
• OpenRouter — AI model processing for the evaluations you request.
• HarvestAPI — publicly available professional profile and engagement data.
• Firecrawl — retrieval of public web pages.

Each provider may process only the information needed for its contracted function. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in, plus a small number of others: a first-party referral cookie (pp_via) that records which affiliate referred you, kept for up to 60 days, and analytics from PostHog that help us understand product usage and errors. If you arrive through an affiliate link, our partner Rewardful may also set its own attribution cookie. We do not use advertising cookies.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. While your account is active, we retain your information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

After a verified deletion request, we delete covered information from live systems within 30 days and instruct applicable processors to do the same. Encrypted backup copies expire through normal rotation within 90 days. We may retain limited records where law permits or requires it, including billing records and the minimal suppression record needed to honor a removal request.

Your choices and deletion

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting privacy@promptprospect.ai. If your information was captured through a customer's watch and you want it removed, the same address handles that request — no account needed. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. Our Data Deletion Guide explains both processes.

International processing and children

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Prompt Prospect is a business service and is not directed to children under 18.
