Privacy Policy

Who we are

Prompt Prospect is operated by Adam Scholes LLC ("Prompt Prospect," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 825 Town & Country Lane, Suite 1200, Houston, TX 77024. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Prompt Prospect or visit our websites, and how we handle publicly available information about the people the service analyzes.

Information we collect from you

• Account details, such as your name, email address, organization, and login information.
• Workspace content you provide, including the watches you configure, ideal-customer profile definitions, notes, and settings.
• Usage, device, security, diagnostic, and support information.
• Billing information. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive subscription status and billing metadata but never store full card numbers.
• Referral attribution when you arrive through an affiliate link.

Information we process about other people

To provide the service, we process publicly available professional information about people publicly connected to the business events our customers research: people named on an event's public pages, such as speakers and exhibitors, people who publicly post about an event, and people who publicly react to, comment on, or repost those posts. This can include a person's name, headline, current employer and role, public profile URL, and the public engagement itself. We collect this information from public pages through contracted data providers. We do not access private profiles, private messages, or content restricted to a person's connections, and we do not collect sensitive categories of information.

We process this information so our customers can identify professionally relevant contacts, relying on our and our customers' legitimate interest in business-to-business prospecting. If you are not a Prompt Prospect customer and want your information removed, email privacy@promptprospect.ai with your public profile URL. We will remove your information within 30 days and keep a minimal suppression record so it is not captured again. Our Data Deletion Guide has details.

How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Prompt Prospect.
• Find the people publicly connected to the events you research, from event pages, organizer documents, and public social posts and the engagement on them, enrich them from publicly available profile data, and evaluate them against the ideal-customer profile you configure.
• Authenticate users, administer accounts and workspaces, process payments, provide support, and send you service, security, onboarding, product, and other lifecycle emails about Prompt Prospect.
• Attribute referrals to the affiliate who made them.
• Comply with law, enforce our agreements, prevent abuse, and protect users and the public.

Email communications

When you create a Prompt Prospect account, you agree to receive emails from us about the service. These include account and security notices, onboarding and getting-started guidance, tips to help you get value from the product, trial and billing reminders, and occasional product updates. Sending these is part of providing Prompt Prospect to you.

You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time by replying to any of them and asking us to stop, or by emailing privacy@promptprospect.ai. We will still send essential account, security, and billing notices while your account is active.

AI and customer data

We do not use customer content or the professional profile data we process to train our own or a third party's general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We send limited data to contracted AI model providers, routed through OpenRouter, solely to produce the evaluations and results requested through Prompt Prospect. Those providers may process that data only to provide the contracted service, subject to their agreements with us.

We may use de-identified or aggregated operational information that cannot reasonably identify a person or customer to understand service performance and improve reliability.

How we share information

We disclose information only as needed to provide the service, follow your directions, administer your account, complete a protected corporate transaction, comply with law, or protect rights, safety, and security. Our service providers are:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — transactional email, such as invitations and receipts.
• PostHog — product analytics and error monitoring.
• Rewardful — affiliate referral attribution.
• OpenAI Ads — advertising measurement for ChatGPT campaigns.
• Google and X — advertising delivery and measurement when those campaigns run.
• OpenRouter — AI model processing for the evaluations you request.
• TypeSafe — fit judgments for the Check fit you request.
• HarvestAPI — publicly available professional profile and engagement data.
• Firecrawl — retrieval of public web pages.

Each provider may process only the information needed for its contracted function. We do not sell personal information.

AI assistants you connect

You can connect an AI assistant, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your workspace through our connector (Settings, then ChatGPT & Claude). You approve its permissions when you connect. The assistant then asks Prompt Prospect for information on your behalf, and we return the results of each request to it: event details, the people and companies connected with an event (names, headlines, companies, public profile links and the evidence that connects them), fit judgments, your notes and saved people, and your target customer. With write permission, the assistant can also add events, request Check fit, save people, write notes and edit your target customer, within the same limits as the app.

The assistant's provider, such as OpenAI or Anthropic, handles what it receives under its own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect an assistant at any time in that assistant's settings.

Cookies

We use cookies needed to keep you signed in, plus a small number of others: a first-party referral cookie (pp_via) that records which affiliate referred you, kept for up to 60 days, and first-party product analytics and error monitoring from PostHog that record how the product is used (pages viewed, events researched, fit checks, exports, Guide replies and errors) so we can fix what breaks and improve what stalls. On our marketing site we also keep a first-party paid-campaign browser cookie for up to 30 days and let the applicable advertising platform (Google Ads, OpenAI) measure whether a visit leads to a signup, first value, or a subscription. If you create an account, the campaign and conversion record becomes part of the account-level analytics we retain while the account is active. This may include privacy-preserving click identifiers such as OpenAI's oppref, Google's gclid/gbraid/wbraid, or X's twclid. If you arrive through an affiliate link, our partner Rewardful may also set its own attribution cookie. We do not show a cookie prompt; this measurement runs for every visitor. To object, or to have the analytics tied to you deleted, contact privacy@promptprospect.ai and we will do it within 30 days.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. While your account is active, we retain your information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

After a verified deletion request, we delete covered information from live systems within 30 days and instruct applicable processors to do the same. Encrypted backup copies expire through normal rotation within 90 days. We may retain limited records where law permits or requires it, including billing records and the minimal suppression record needed to honor a removal request.

Your choices and deletion

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal information by contacting privacy@promptprospect.ai. If your information was captured through a customer's watch and you want it removed, the same address handles that request — no account needed. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where legally permitted or required. Our Data Deletion Guide explains both processes.

International processing and children

Information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Prompt Prospect is a business service and is not directed to children under 18.
